Justin’s eternal bemused kindness, nurturing, and generosity. The untold number of times Justin has spontaneously provided exactly what I needed. A magical, wonderful man being.

His beautiful big brown eyes and megawatt smile as he handed me plates of food through a little rectangular hole when we both worked at The Tak. He cooked, I served. We both had a laugh:) Thinking of Justin today and all his best buds as you gather to celebrate his life today. Hope to make a summer gathering.

He was one of the kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting getting to know. He once posed as my brother to keep a creep away at a season end party. I’ll never forget him for that. His positivity, warmth and gentle spirit will live on in those the knew him. ✨️ 🙌💗

Your smile, enthusiasm and joy will never be forgotten. You had such a presence. It was a pleasure being in your company, having you a part of the community and watching you feel the music. You will be missed by many.

Justin and I are woven together by the Cortes community. Memories range many ages and stages, but there was always a smile and a sense of warmth and humility in my interactions with Justin. It is a gift to grow up within such a wonderful web. Justin physical presence in that is so missed and I hold my many memories of him on a beach, in a boat, playing music, dancing and around a dinner table dear.

I never saw Justin without a big smile on his face. He lightened the mood and brought laughter and a bright spirit to wherever he was.

We were childhood friends and have to many memory’s to count.

I didn’t know Justin for very long and only met Justin last fall planting in Port Alice, but my goodness did he make a HUGE impression on my life.

My memory is not a specific one but just his wonderful smiling face and warm energy. It was purely delightful and infectious ❤️

Whenever things got stressful at work, Justin would give me a smile and tell me, “we got this!” The most positive person I have ever known.

Had a wonderful time getting to know you over some seasons of planting. You bring positivity and joy everywhere you go. I’ll miss the day off rounds of disc golf you always got going.
